The Idol of Accuracy: Distinguishing Prophetic information vs Prophetic Revelation.
So, in a recent time with The Father, I was talking to Him about the state of the Prophetic Ministry, when The Holy Spirit said something to me that literally blew my mind!
I heard The Spirit say to me, ”Daughter, The Church had made an IDOL OF ACCURACY — prioritising Accuracy over the true pursuit of knowing the Redemptive heart of The Father!”
Wow!
A few days later, I confided in a trusted friend who is well-versed in the prophetic, and we engaged in a profound discussion about what God is doing in this current season.
We spoke about the purification and separation that is happening relationally and doctrinally within the Prophetic Ministry, and also the discouragement and even isolation that many are experiencing at this time.
We also explored the troubling level of deception and confusion within the Prophetic Movement, and how many individuals are being led astray by dangerous doctrines and the lack of Biblical Understanding, when it comes to applying the correct prophetic protocol to a Prophetic Word, Vision or Dream.
Then, as I mentioned to her about what The LORD spoke to me about ”The Idol of Accuracy,” we shared insights into how to discern what is genuine, and what is tainted with ‘mixture’ — what I refer to as “poison in the pot.”
The Holy Spirit then showed me ways in which we can identify the pure and uncontaminated Prophetic Words that truly stem from the heart of God versus the lure of Prophetic information that might sound appealing — but has no substance!
The LORD showed me that so much of what many are consuming within the current Prophetic Movement is actually “Prophetic information” and NOT Prophetic Revelation!
As a result, this has brought much death in the pot!
Prophetic Revelation vs. Prophetic information
True Prophetic Revelation comes from a life steeped and deeply immersed in Intimacy with God, a Lifestyle of Consecration and genuine Encounters with God.
Prophetic Revelation is a divine unveiling of the Father’s Redemptive and Restorative heart.
In contrast, Prophetic information can originate from various sources — including spirits of divination, familiar spirits, political spirits, and fleshly desires.
While Prophetic information may boast a semblance of accuracy, it lacks the transformative power of the Holy Spirit to bring about true Repentance and Kingdom Transformation and Reformation.
Prophetic information is often rooted in deception and a warped understanding of Scripture and is rooted in a Spirit of Witchcraft and divination, that in turn can lead to self-idolatry, idolatry of men. and a fixation and appetite for anything and everything outside of the Divine Will and Heart of God.
Prophetic Revelation, however, carries the weight of Biblical Truth, Authority and a demonstration of Supernatural Power and it brings forth revelation and wisdom that births change, growth and genuine and lasting transformation.
It brings forth an unveiling the hidden secrets and mysteries of God.
True Prophetic Revelation will always reveal the Redemptive Nature and Character of God — and will Ignite Personal Revival and Regional Transformation.
The Quest for True Encounter
In our relentless pursuit of Prophetic information, we have developed an appetite for the superficial over the authentic Ministry of The Holy Spirit which has led to an addiction to prediction, rather than a profound hunger for the living Word of God and true Encounters with God.
Prophetic information has also birthed Counterfeit Worship which has bred Spiritual orphans and fostered a poverty mindset, distorting True Kingdom Identity.
Prophetic Revelation, on the other hand, nurtures and raises up Spiritual Sons and Daughters who know and truly understand their true Identity in Christ and walk in a demonstration of the Power and Authority of Christ.
Listen friends, Prophetic information will always give rise to fickle and flaky followers who idolize humans, and who elevate the opinions of men over the Counsel and Wisdom of God and it has caused many in The Body of Christ to walk in the fear of man — rather than The Fear of God!
True Prophetic Revelation will produce a lifestyle of Holiness and true Intimacy with the Father.
Those who can rightly discern what is of the Spirit — and those who sit under True Prophetic Revelation — will always prioritise ministering to God first — irrelevant of the personal cost.
They are not moved by betrayal, rejection, ridicule, gossip or even the hatred of men!
Those who can accurately discern Prophetic Revelation over simple Prophetic information are those who are true followers of Christ, and are not moved by whims of men — and nor do they seek the applause and favour of men!
The Scriptures urge us to, “Test [try] the spirit!”
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1emphasis added.
Note that it does not say “test the word” but “test the spirit!” The Word can always be twisted and manipulated in order to control and abuse.
The Word of God tells us to Test [Try], Weigh and Judge the Spirit behind every prophetic utterance — not merely the words within a prophecy that comes through the gift and messenger!
It’s Absolutely Fundamental
It’s absolutely fundamental that we must ask ourselves the following:
- Is this Prophetic Revelation drawing me closer to Christ?
- Is this Prophetic Revelation producing the fruit of the Spirit in my life?
- Is this Prophetic Revelation making me more like Jesus?
- Is it Creating greater Hunger, Intimacy and a deeper and more Consecrated Life?
- or is it simply Prophetic information, potentially accurate but totally devoid of God’s Transformative Power?
Because such information will only foster a greater dependence on man, while lacking the spiritual substance that builds true Faith, Maturity and Reliance on God!
Two Wineskins: The True vs. The Counterfeit
I see two Wineskins emerging: one filled with the New Wine of the Spirit, and the other containing a counterfeit.
Both will induce an intoxicating effect, influencing our Vision, Illumination, and Revelation.
The first Wineskin offers Clarity and Wisdom from above, while the second breeds deception, distortion, and disillusionment regarding the truth — much like the lullaby of Delilah, which lulls and dulls the senses to the Movement of The Spirit.
One Wineskin emphasizes Spiritual Gifts, while the other focuses on Godly Character.
The first will open our eyes and usher in Glorious Light, revealing the Seven-fold Spirit of Illumination that brings Revelation and Life of The Spirit.
In contrast, the second will cast a veil of deception and lies, leading us deeper into darkness and, ultimately, to destruction and even Spiritual death.
So, we face a critical choice in this hour between Two Wineskins: the Wineskin of Wokeism and the Wineskin of Word and Spirit.
One is filled with Prophetic information — while the other Powerful Prophetic Revelation Knowledge of the Heart and Ways of God.
